A recent survey by the website Zhaopin.com shows that this year, workers in China on average received a Tet bonus of about 7,300 Yuan (nearly 1,500 USD).
About 66% of knowledge workers in China participating in the survey said that they will definitely get a Tet bonus.
Also according to this survey, the average Tet bonus in cash in Shanghai is the highest, followed by Beijing.
Workers in the information technology industry receive the biggest bonuses with an average bonus of approximately 12,000 Yuan, surpassing workers in the financial sector.

However, while 84.5% of workers participating in the survey said that they would receive Tet bonuses in cash, some businesses gave `one-of-a-kind` Tet bonuses such as bonuses in toilet paper and sanitary napkins.
