Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Giang, General Secretary of the Vietnam-Canada Friendship Association shared: “We are very happy and grateful for the commitment and enthusiastic participation of the Canadian Embassy in working with other agencies.

HRC (Hanoi Run for Children) has now become a traditional fundraising program in Hanoi attracting thousands of capital residents and international friends to participate, donating an average of about 1 billion VND each year.

HRC 2015 continues to receive the companionship of famous people such as People’s Artist Le Khanh, Singer Tung Duong and Singer Thai Thuy Linh.

This year’s program has the following details:

1) HRC 2015 continues to be held at the traditional location, suitable for community activities: the main gate of Thong Nhat Park, in the central area, convenient for people from all over Hanoi to attend.

2) At the stage area, participants will warm up under the guidance of NShape’s team of professional coaches, immersing themselves in exciting performances by singers and talented children’s groups.

3) VinaCapital Foundation manages fund coordination to optimize the use of sponsorship money, while ensuring transparency and procedures for future audit activities performed by KPMG Auditing Company.

4) The fundraising T-shirt sales campaign took place 8 days before the event at 3 locations of Joma Bakery Café (43 To Ngoc Van, 22 Ly Quoc Su, 38 Lieu Giai) and the Headquarters of the Union of Friendship Organizations.

5) Joma Bakery Café brand snack and beverage stalls are located around the stage area and 100% of profits from sales will be contributed to the HRC Foundation.
