Ngoc Thanh Tam shared that participating in the 2017 Cannes International Film Festival was a memorable milestone in her career.
During the fitting session by designer Galia Lahav, Ngoc Thanh Tam was advised to wear a meticulously designed dress from the Haute couture collection and was performed at Haute Couture Week last January.
It is known that fashion house Galia Lahav is an official member of the performance schedule at Haute Couture Paris Fashion Week.
For this joint collaboration, designer Galia Lahav personally chose Ngoc Thanh Tam for the most suitable dress for the 70th Cannes International Film Festival. And the impressive dress in the Haute couture collection
In addition to designer Galia Lahav, Ngoc Thanh Tam was also favored by designer Idan Cohen, who hand-selected the dress with more than 2,000 large and small Swarovski stones and processed it in more than 500 hours of work by skilled workers.
The young designer from Israel was born into a family whose father owned a denim factory.
According to the schedule, from May 17-19, 2017, actor Ngoc Thanh Tam, director Hong Anh and actor Pham Hong Phuoc will represent the film crew to attend red carpet events and exchange activities.
Previously, the film won the highest award: Best Film at the ASEAN International Film Festival – AIFFA 2017 in Malaysia, in addition to two other important awards: Best Actor (Pham Hong Phuoc) and Directing Director.
The main setting in `The Island of the Dwellers` is an old and conservative restaurant, lost amid the changes of the times, like an island of soul fragments with no place to live.
Actress Ngoc Thanh Tam shared about her role as Chu: `I was under a lot of pressure when I accepted the role of Chu.
Immediately after the activities in Cannes, `Island of the Dwellers` will be premiered with Spanish subtitles during the Vietnamese Film Week in Madrid – Spain on May 24 and 25, 2017.
The film will soon be officially released to serve domestic audiences after the group ends its activities abroad.
