From swimsuit to bikini fashion
Everything starts out difficult
The demand for swimwear began to grow as vacationing in remote tropical seas became popular among the upper class.
The first style of swimsuit was in the early 19th century
By the early 20th century, when fashion witnessed a few small revolutions, bringing liberation to women’s bodies, swimsuits gradually became shorter, lighter and more comfortable.
Swimmer Annette Kellerman shocked her with a swimsuit revealing her body lines in 1907
The bomb is called Bikini
By 1946, the bikini – a new two-piece swimsuit was born, demonstrating a profound change in thinking in society about women’s freedom, they were allowed to wear and… show off what they wanted!
No less interesting is that this `work of art` turned out to be thanks to the work of two… men, Louis Réard and Jacques Heim.
In the 20th century, the swimsuit spoke of women’s equality in society.
Because no model was brave enough to accept the role, Réard had to hire a stripper to present this revolutionary design.
But just a decade later, people saw this sexy design appearing on beaches all over France.
Sexier & sexier
Although Réard, in the past, described his invention as `a swimsuit so small that it couldn’t get any smaller,` with each passing year, the design of the next generation of bikinis always continues to be smaller than the previous generation.
It cannot be denied that bikinis are extremely effective promotional items for rising young stars.
Gisele Bundchen is considered the most beautiful bikini supermodel in the world
Nowadays, women of all ages favor bikinis, and they have long been no longer afraid of revealing their bodies when wearing those (once considered) daring designs.
